In order to guarantee the performance of surgical instruments; after sales service is essential. The combination of proper care and maintenance followed by a high-end repair service is needful for a long life-time.
The surgical instruments will be inspected by an authorized repair company in order to check if a repair will make sense in terms of economy, as in lot of cases repair will be more expensive than an exchange of the instrument itself.
AS special products, like detachable Kerrisons and Rongeurs will be sent to the productions only who have built those.
Here the product know-how and durability is our first priority.
All AS and non-AS products will be marked with an AS-repair code, e.g. AS Rep. 01.17. Original AS products will be additionaly marked with the Original AS marking which includes since 01/2017 the GS1 DataMatrix Code. Those markings can be done only by us in combination with the passivation of our new instrumentation.
In this constellation we are in the position to offer our clients and partners the complete maintenance and repair of whole trays and sets. The professional check-up of the sent goods will be done by a neutral and authorized repair company. Products which cannot be repaired will be specially mentioned and AS is going to offer, if possible, an alternative product.
