In the quality control stage, a visual and systematic inspection of the finish and model fidelity is performed based on technical production drawings. The Rockwell procedure is also used to test the specified instrument hardness. Almost all instruments are bead blasted to ensure a matt and glare-free finish. High-tech laser technology is then used to apply a durable marking that remains in place throughout the instrument’s service life. After being pre-cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, the instruments undergo a validated and automated final cleaning process in our cleaning and disinfection device. This stage also involves the instruments’ passivation and the application of corrosion protection. Finally, further inspections are performed, all moving parts are oiled plus functional and cut tests are carried out.
